شمع و پروانه
داستان شمع و پروانه همیشه تمثیل عشق و عاشقی بوده است و خواهد بود. حکایت سوختن پروانه در شعله های سوزان شمع را همیشه نشانه عشق او به شمع دانسته‌اند و گاه نیز بر شمع ملامت روا دارند که معشوق را در آتش خویش می‌سوزاند و نابود می‌کند.
به راستی شمع با پروانه چه می کند که پروانه را اگر پروانه نام نهاده‌اند از آن روست که وی را با دیدن رخ شمع پروایی نیست از آتش؟

آری اگر پروانه با دیدن روی شمع، بی قرار و مستانه خود را با شعله سوزان آن می‌سوزاند، چه گناهی است شمع را؟ شمع جز عشق به پروانه هدیه نمی‌کند و پروانه با استعدادی درونی برای دریافت عشق، مبهوت و مات معشوق خود می‌گردد و سوختن در دامان معشوق را خود با چشم باز انتخاب می‌کند و پروانه ملامت‌گران شمع را با دیده انکار می‌نگرد که چرا معنای عشق و جذبه معشوق را درک نکرده‌اند و لذت شیرین سوختن در هوای یار را؟
